What is Sleep Apnea?
Sleep apnea is a serious condition where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep. The most common type, Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), can cause:
Loud snoring or gasping
Daytime fatigue or mood changes
Memory and concentration issues
High blood pressure or heart problems
If left untreated, sleep apnea increases your risk of stroke, heart disease, and diabetes.
An HSAT (Home Sleep Apnea Test) can detect these signs in your own bed — safely, privately, and affordably.
Who Qualifies?
You may be eligible for an in-home sleep study if you:
Are 30+ and concerned about your sleep
Are enrolled in Medicaid, Medicare, or both
Experience snoring, fatigue, morning headaches, or frequent night waking
Live in Utah

Frequently Asked Questions
-
If you snore, feel tired during the day, or have high blood pressure, a test can help determine if sleep apnea is the cause.
-
No. Our sleep study is done from home. No hospital visits are required.
-
Yes. Medicare and Utah Medicaid both cover in-home sleep studies for eligible patients. In most cases, there is no cost for those who qualify.
However, some DME suppliers (like Apria) may require a credit card on file in case the testing equipment isn’t returned. Additionally, if you’re using Medicare or a plan with a deductible, a copay or coinsurance may apply — especially if your deductible hasn’t been met yet.
Don’t worry — any potential costs will be explained clearly up front, before your test is shipped, so there are no surprise bills.
