In most cases, there is no out-of-pocket cost for eligible patients. However, some DME partners (like Apria) may require a credit card on file in case the equipment isn’t returned. If your patients have a plan with a deductible or coinsurance (especially Medicare Advantage or commercial), you may have a copay depending on your patients’s coverage.
Don’t worry — any potential costs will be reviewed and explained up front before your patient test ships, so they’ll never be surprised by a bill.
