However, some DME suppliers (like Apria) may require a credit card on file in case the testing equipment isn’t returned. Additionally, if the patient is using Medicare or a plan with a deductible, a copay or coinsurance may apply — especially if the deductible hasn’t been met yet.
Don’t worry — any potential costs will be explained clearly up front, before your test is shipped, so there are no surprise bills.
